UNIBEN Sacks 18 Senior Staff

The Governing Council of University of Benin (UNIBEN) has terminated the appointment of 18 senior staff of the university.

The former bursar of the institution, Mrs May Nwoye, was also asked to proceed on compulsory retirement by the Council. Nwoye was said to have abandoned his duty post after she left the office of bursar.

Hospital to Discharges OAU Student who gave Birth in the Toilet

The Obafemi Awolowo University Health Centre has discharged a 400-level student of the institution, Miss Oyinlola Rotimi, who was accused of attempting to flush her newborn baby boy down the septic tank (IF YOU MISSED IT, CLICK HERE).

Rotimi, a student of the Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, caused a controversy when she was seen in the toilet with the baby at Moremi Hall on Wednesday.
