The Governing Council of University of Benin (UNIBEN) has terminated the appointment of 18 senior staff of the university.
The
former bursar of the institution, Mrs May Nwoye, was also asked to
proceed on compulsory retirement by the Council. Nwoye was said to have
abandoned his duty post after she left the office of bursar.
